You’ve heard of the Rainbow Bridge, right? It’s a place, according to the poem by Edna Clyne-Rehky, on this side of Heaven where our beloved pets go when they die. They play there, happily, all the while awaiting our respective advents on the heavenly horizon, until one day there is a fine and joyous reunion between us, and we step forward, together into eternity.

The sentiment in Edna’s poem now 60-odd year-old poem is a lovely one, and this T-Shirt honours it with an image of a Rainbow Bridge, but with the expression of a different kind of sentiment to Edna’s. Some of us question whether there is a Heaven and need words of a different flavour than Edna’s to bring us comfort.
